Individual Rates
Individual sessions are 50 minutes long and cost $150-$200. Please enquire about fees during the phone consult.
Payment Options
Payment is due at the beginning of each session. I accept cash or cheques and ask that e-transfers be sent prior to our sessions. Receipts are provided at the end of each session.
Cancellations
If you must change or cancel your appointment, I require 48 hours notice so that I may book someone else into the time slot. You are financially responsible for missed appointments and for appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
Insurance
The services provided by Social Workers are not covered by provincial health insurance plans (OHIP). Many people have extended health benefits they obtain themselves or through their employer that cover a portion of the cost of Counselling or Psychotherapy with a Social Worker (MSW) annually.
I generally bill directly to clients (outside of those covered through Veteran’s Affairs or the Canadian Military) and leave it up to you to arrange whatever coverage you may be entitled to with your insurance provider. If you are expecting to be covered by your provider, I recommend that you ensure that you are covered for therapy with a ‘registered MSW’ prior to beginning therapy with me.
